About Dr.Hamid Mahmood
Dr.Hamid Mahmood graduated from Rawalpindi Medical College in 2009.
He completed his post-graduation in internal medicine i.e. M.D Internal Medicine from Post Graduate
Medical Institute, Lahore. PGMI Lahore is one of the most prestigious institutes of Pakistan and Lahore
General Hospital is associated with it. He has been working in Lahore General Hospital since then and
also gained experience in Stroke Management in Neuroradiology department of Pakistan Institute of
Neurosciences (PINS).
He is also member of Pakistan Academy of Family Physician and Registered with PMDC as a Medical
Specialist.
He spent Few years in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and came to know about ancient and sunnah art of
healing i.e HIJAMA (cupping therapy). Combining the Modern Medical Science with this ancient art of
healing he is also a qualified HIJAMA practitioner and an integral part of our team at Ilyas Medicare &
Diagnostic Centre since 2017.
